It identifies the Trinity County Sheriff's Records Lobby, Trinity Superior Court, California Department of Justice, and California Megan's Law Website as distinct record sources and may link to outside research tools.

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination
No one may use site or linked information to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate. California Penal Code section 290.46 places strict limits on misuse of California Megan's Law information. That registry exists for public safety awareness, not vigilantism or unlawful adverse treatment.
4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. - Screen potential renters or housing applicants
- Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
