Trinity County criminal records are divided among the Sheriff's Records Lobby, Trinity Superior Court, California Department of Justice, state corrections, and the California Megan's Law Website. No single county portal holds them all. We organize the official addresses, phone numbers, search tools, and request routes so readers can start with the office that actually keeps the record.

Why We Built This Site

Trinity County has no incorporated cities, and its main justice offices are clustered in Weaverville. Even so, the record path is split. Trinity Superior Court keeps filed charges and dispositions, while the Sheriff's Records Lobby handles local law-enforcement records and fingerprint appointments. California DOJ keeps the restricted statewide criminal-history repository and offers subject-only Record Review through Live Scan. CDCR and the California Megan's Law Website serve different custody and registry needs. We bring those official routes together because Trinity County itself reports that criminal records are not available through a countywide online search.
